About:
Established in 1984, Chirnside Park Cricket Club is located 35km east of Melbourne at the foothills of the picturesque Yarra Valley and is affiliated with the Ringwood & District Cricket Association (RDCA), the Women's Community Cricket Competition (WCCC), the Mid Year Cricket Association (MYCA) and the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association (BHRDCA).

Boasting some of the finest facilities in the association, our clubrooms and side-by-side home grounds are located at our Kimberley Reserve, Kimberley Drive base.
We have a new 5 lane, fully enclosed, full synthetic, practice facility.

Both of our 2 ovals have recently been resurfaced, with new synthetic pitches laid, new synthetic run-ups/pitch surrounds laid and new mesh fencing installed.

And the redevelopment of our clubrooms is currently underway and will be completed in mid-2022.

We currently field a total of 20 teams:

9 Senior teams - 6 Men's teams, with the 1st XI competing in Newey Plate, the competition's 3rd premier grade, a Women's team and 2 winter teams.

We also enter a team in the men's Seniors and Veterans midweek T20 competitions.

and 11 Junior teams - 2 x Under 10, 3 x Under 12, an Under 12 Girls, 3 x Under 14, an Under 15 Girls and an Under 18 team.

And we run a Woolworths Junior Blasters program for kids aged 5-8.

We also enter a team in the Under 12 and Under 14 midweek T20 competitions.

A young club on the rise, we are always on the lookout for new players, male and female, young and old.

This coming season we are hoping to establish a third junior girls' team and a second senior women's team, and are expecting our junior program to expand further to include our own under 16's team.

Whether you're an interested novice keen to give it a go, a local cricketer looking for a change of scenery, are new to the area and looking to continue your career, a former player looking to rekindle your passion or a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge, Chirnside Park is the place to play for you whatever your age or ability.

Those no longer wishing to compete but wanting to be part of a club environment, as a coach, member, volunteer or supporter, are also highly encouraged to get involved.

Chirnside Park CC is a level 3 accredited Good Sports club.
